Frequently Asked Questions

Are you licensed?

There are no licensing requirements for mowing lawns. However, there are commercial licensing requirements for maintaining lawns and landscapes when applying fertilizers and pesticides. We also are licensed for construction and water proofing.

Do I have to sign a contract?

We do not require contracts for our residential lawn maintenance customers, but do require contracts for commercial customers. For some of our other services there may be contracts: basement water proofing, constructin etc.

Are you insured?

We carry $1,000,000.00 in general liability insurance and carry policies on our equipment and vehicles. Please note, it is very important to hire a contractor with adequate insurance. When hiring an uninsured contractor, you assume all risk and may be liable for any incidents. We are happy to provide proof of insurance upon request.

What forms of payment do you accept?

Check, Money Order, Visa, MasterCard, Discover.

How am I billed?

Upon approval, regularly serviced customers are billed monthly, on the last day of the month. "One-time" customers are billed immediately upon completion of the job. If we have your email address, we will send the bill electronically. Otherwise, we will send your bill through the US Postal Service, and you will need to mail back a check or money order.

When is payment due?

For regularly serviced customers, payment must be received within 30 days of the invoice date or late charges will be applied to your bill. If payment is not received within 60 days, regular service will be suspended until your account is current.

For "one-time" customers, payment is due upon receipt of the invoice. If payment is not received within 10 days of the invoice date, late charges will be applied to your bill.
